Veneto Banca Group - Overview (ENG)

The Veneto Banca Group is one of the first 12 Italian banks by assets under management and the result of an evolution that had its origins in 1877, when the Banca Popolare di Montebelluna was founded.

Today the structure of the Veneto Banca Group is made up of three banks in Italy (the parent company Veneto Banca in the north, Cassa di Risparmio di Fabriano e Cupramontana in the centre and Banca Apulia in the south – all with branches in Rome, too) and four overseas banks ((Veneto Banka Croatia, Veneto Banca Albania, Banca Italo Romena and Eximbank Moldova), with the addition of numerous product companies.

Veneto Banca is a non-listed cooperative bank and acts as parent company. It operates as a retail bank in northern Italy and in Rome, managing the companies of the Group and providing services to its subsidiaries, maximising economies of scale and enabling synergy and efficiency. The Italian and overseas subsidiaries can therefore focus on managing their business, supported by this easy, streamlined structure.

All the Group's banks serve the territory where they operate, also supporting local bodies and associations in sectors such as environmental and artistic heritage protection, medical research, welfare, training and youth sports, in line with the cooperative spirit of the parent company.

The mission of Veneto Banca Group is to be innovative and autonomous, a leader in its local communities, able to provide quality services and to ethically and responsibly create value over time for shareholders, clients and employees.
